ABOUT EPCT

The ESTATE PLANNING COUNCIL OF TORONTO was founded in 1952 by a group of senior insurance and trust professionals. It is dedicated to continuing education and exchange of ideas in connection with the estate planning process, to ensuring excellence of service, and to fellowship.

Over the years, we have grown to a multi-discipline membership of over 100 senior professionals who are committed to the original purposes of the ESTATE PLANNING COUNCIL OF TORONTO. Membership is drawn from the following categories:

  • Insurance professionals
  • Trust company specialists
  • Accountants
  • Lawyers
  • Estate and Financial Planners

The ESTATE PLANNING COUNCIL OF TORONTO meets monthly in the beautiful main dining room of the Albany Club, from October to May, to exchange ideas and information around the dinner table, followed by a guest speaker.Our programs are topical, current, and respond to the broad interests in matters of importance to estate planners.

Membership in the ESTATE PLANNING COUNCIL OF TORONTO is by invitation.Our new members must be committed to the purposes of the ESTATE PLANNING COUNCIL OF TORONTO, and must be senior, qualified professionals in one of the categories of membership. Members are required to attend a minimum of four meetings each year to remain in good standing.

Interested professionals may apply by downloading and completing the membership Application and forwarding it to the current Membership Chairperson. A curriculum vitae and references are required.
